We came into the wedding day with quite a shot list. Having worked closely with both Ellen and her mom before the wedding day, we talked about a good start time for hair & makeup for all of her bridesmaids, and we allotted time for them to get to the church. We rocked straight through those pre-ceremony shots, even finishing early and giving me some time to take a deep breath. But most of all, we had a lot of fun and laughs while going through it which made it all go by so very quickly.

After the ceremony, I knew I had to be at The Modern at 8:30pm sharp and the shot list, well it was daunting, but we made it right on time and had Ellen and Caleb enjoying their reception in no time at all!

Instead of taking pictures of them together as soon as we arrived at The Modern, we opted to sneak off while the guests were eating – after the grand entrance and the first dance. This involved some additional coordination with our DJ, Colby, and The Modern but it also meant that the guests didn’t have to wait longer for the reception to begin!
