I am so incredibly lucky to have met Heather and Curt when they were making their wedding plans. They let me into their lives without a second of hesitation and I’m always taken by how they love each other so fiercely.

My clients know that I am a talker  (I really do find silence to be so very awkward) but I never ask them about what is next for them. Yet, I never doubted for a second that a little family would be in Heather and Curt’s future because they truly have SO much love to share. You can see it in the way they are with one another – the little glances and soft touches, and you can see it in the way they are with Lily.

I love the serenity of these images, as well as how much they remind me of Heather’s bridal portraits. She just loves bluebonnets and I was happy to spend another adventurous day with her & sweet little family. In re-reading the bridals post, I laughed to myself remembering how utterly hot it was that day and how we all sat around at Braum’s eating ice cream. But what I laughed about most was that these maternity pictures were taken in a soppy wet field that was sucking me into it with every movement and adorable little little Lily with mud oozing between her toes as she tried to hop through the flowers and gather insects.

I am so incredibly lucky for every moment that I have been given.
