I can’t remember if she said “You’re going to love Michael” or “Michael is going to love you” but either way, her eyes gleamed every time she mentioned his name. “And we are bringing the dog,” she added.
When they arrived, Michael eyed me from the driver’s seat and I felt a pang of worry, hoping I can live up to whatever wonderfulness she has told him about me. And as soon as he said hello and shook my hand, I knew he was the perfect teddy bear for Jessica. In those couple of hours together, I saw how they shined in each others presence. On their wedding day, I really saw the depth of that emotion. They were in their own joyous world together and it was truly beautiful.
