For the third time in one month, I found myself twiddling my thumbs on 635. Two miles = an hour. I don’t want to run the snail-like calculations on that and admit how. very. little. I. moved. Luckily (or unluckily?), Mark was in the same mess of traffic that I was in and I had, as usual, overalotted how much time I would need for portraits. We met in downtown Grapevine and started the whole shabang with some drinks & munchies. Heather and Mark had both just gotten off work and it was just a good way to unwind from the day (and the commute).

Once we were ready to shoot, the sun was in it’s perfect shining glory and we took full advantage of it.
