After a wedding is photographed, as I think you may imagine, I spend quite a bit of quality time with the images before the bride and groom sees them. My first step is a quick import into Adobe Lightroom, where I take my first real peek, making sure everything is accounted for and  choosing a random selection of loveliness to upload to facebook as a preview.

My second pass through involves sorting the images into preceremony, ceremony, portraits, reception, and my favorite folder … caught. I laugh a lot during the sorting process. As you already know, Vivian has some very expressive faces. She also does some really random stuff throughout the day.

As an example, here’s a terrific shot of the bridesmaid’s purses … and her feet …

Get it, Vivie. Shanna looks fierce and focused.

More light testing during the ceremony. We really aren’t angry, just concentrating. This is serious business, folks.

Reception time. Definitely getting into the groove.

Just making some final touches during the final shots of the evening. Note the pink phone that I stole from Shanna in my back pocket. I almost forgot to give it back. Oops.
