I met up with Elicia and her mother at University Christian Church in Fort Worth on a lovely summer day. The sun was shining brilliantly and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Wanting to take advantage of the sun set, we started pictures in side the sanctuary and then made our way outside.

There are very few things that surprise me, that really take me aback. So while we were shooting, there is no way to describe my face when I looked up and saw the darkest, scariest, meanest cloud of doom in the history of the world. Our casual  shoot turned into a full-speed ahead  bridal marathon.

I think Elicia is the only bride on this planet who could have embraced all of that and just played in the rain with me. And we laughed so hard as the rain drops bounced around us and then attacked us full force as we made our way back to the car.
