Scott & Kerry’s wedding ceremony was filled to the brim with meaningful, personal moments – it was a direct reflection of their intense commitment to one another and to their families. There was an incredible abundance of touching tears and knowing smiles that filled the chapel that day: leading up to the wedding, Scott wasn’t sure if his family would attend but he was beyond delighted to have his children and mother in attendance, knowing they had made a great sacrifice to be there for him.

Kerry’s parents had passed but they were far from forgotten that day.  After Scott’s mom was seated, a special song played for Kerry’s parents, along with Kerry’s sister sharing & prominently placing their portrait in the front row.

Kerry watched all of it from the back with tears in his eyes.

But suddenly, the doors swung open and Kerry & Scott made their way down the aisle with Scott’s grand-daughter. Her shoes were bothering her right before the ceremony so they didn’t make it down the aisle.

Scott & Kerry presented red roses to each other’s families. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house at this point.

Every wedding party member had a special piece in a unique artist representation of their union. Since Scott & Kerry love art, and this was just the perfect way to showcase everyone’s participation. Each hexagonal piece was unique, hand-painted with a symbolic representation of each person that was setting it up during the ceremony. They started with Scott’s grand-daughter, who had walked down with them as the ceremony commenced.

The final piece was a willow tree, representing Scott & Kerry.

Scott’s grand-daughter was also our overly excited ring bearer.
