I love a little reunion and this one was 13+ years in the making. How is that even possible that I haven’t seen Bart & Karen since their wedding in 2005? How is it even possible that 2005 was 13 years+ ago? Surely my math is wrong.
Doubly crazy – it turns out that we now live walking distance from another in this little neighborhood known as Oak Cliff. Karen has a well-established boutique architecture business, Thrasherworks, and Bart is a well-respected realtor with Dave Griffin. Both are widely known and loved in our community, no kidding.
Since it had been double digit years since we have seen each other, this was my first time meeting their incredibly intelligent and humorous son, Henry. He’s the perfect mix of Karen & Bart and just a tremendous joy to meet after all of these years.
