There is nothing like working a wedding with your peeps. You walk in and there are hugs and love from your vendor friends and you know, you just know that it’s going to be a wonderful day! We were so lucky to work with so many of our friends at Chelsey & Don’s wedding. I know my dearest stalkers will recognize many of the names on the vendor list!

Vivian got a sneak peak at the gorgeous room at the Omni, Fort Worth, all floraled-up by DiFiori and she photographed the heck out of its gorgeousness!

The cake was a sexy beast no matter which side you looked at!

Here’s a funny story and I can already hear Vivian groaning because she knows what I am about to say…

Rhonda tells me that Chelsey and Don will be using Chelsey’s parents cake cutter.

As Chelsey & Don are cutting the cake, I ask “did you get a picture of the cake cutter?” Historically, every single time she answers back “yes ….” and rolls her eyes at me. But this time, she says (with vigor) “NO! It’s not even theirs, it has someone else’s name on it”, and she proceeds to roll her eyes at me.

Now, my dear audience, understand that every once in a while the bride and groom do not provide their own cake cutter and we end up with a generic set at the reception site.  This is normal. However, we have never once had a set with someone else’s name on it. So I *can* see where she could make that mistake. But the eyerolling and the intense conviction in her voice had me on the ground laughing. For at least 20 minutes.

I highly recommend whatever messy string thingies these are for exit shots. First of all, they make a massive fun mess. Secondly, everyone gets stuck in them. Including me, at one point they pulled me into the limo with them until I screamed (like a scared little girl who was afraid of landing face first on my camera equipment) “Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!! Help!!!!!!”. I had to be cut out. Worth it.
